First of several bodies is unearthed on Tenean Beach.

Acting on a tip, law enforcement authorities discover the remains of Paul “Paulie” McGonagle buried on Tenean Beach. McGonagle was allegedly killed by James “Whitey” Bulger in 1974. Authorities subsequently discover the body of Debra Davis nearby and then of Arthur “Bucky” Barrett, Deborah Hussey, and John McIntyre near Florian Hall – all alleged to be victims of Bulger and Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi.
